The spunky, lovable Cheryl Hines — who gave us the best straight-woman of all time as the wife of neurotic Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm, and has appeared in movies such as RV and Diner — played on NBC's Hollywood Game Night last night and allocated her $10,000 winnings to Tarpon Springs' Wheelchairs 4 Kids. Hines had been involved with the charity for a couple of years.
Hines competed against Michael Chiklis, Josh Groban, Jerry Ferrara, Wanda Sykes and Ciara in the "battle of the sexes" game show hosted by Jane Lynch. According to Wheelchairs 4 Kids spokesperson Madeline Robinson, Hines has a nephew with Cerebral Palsy, which may be a personal factor in why she has chosen Wheelchairs 4 Kids.
Wheelchairs 4 Kids is dedicated to improving the lives of children with physical disabilities and can be found at 1976 Pinellas Ave S., Tarpon Springs, wheelchairs4kids.org.
