What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than with a holly-color-scheme-infuenced party rockin' a DJ, drag shows, an open bar, color-coded party-level bracelets and St. Pete's own century old botanical garden?*
St. Pete Pride is hosting their sixth annual Red & Green Christmas party this Saturday at Sunken Gardens, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
More than 300 of the organization's closest friends and supporters will be jazzing around three different festively decorated venues within the park: one featuring live entertainment, another a funky-shit-spinnin' DJ, and the last, hell-yeah, some drag shows.
An optional five-color color-coded glow-in-the-dark bracelet system, where there will be five different neon colors to choose from, each of which will represent something like a relationship status, will be in effect for all ready to nix the small talk. An open bar for the lush and jovial alike will kept vodka, beer, soft drinks and complimentary apps on hand, and seating will be alfresco, amongst all the beautifully native foliage we love Florida so much for.
"It'll be a great time for everyone to come hang out and maybe meet some new people," said St. Pete Pride's Eric Skains.
