True Stories takes place on the second Wednesday of each month, with a featured storyteller who tells a story on the night's theme. But everyone attending has the chance to go on stage, with names are selected at random to give the chance to go on stage and tell a true, personal story on the theme. The next show is Wednesday, Oct. 12 at Old Key West Bar & Grill, and the theme will be "Supernatural." Hear historian Deborah Frethem, author of Ghost Stories of St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Pinellas County, share her own true personal story of otherworldly encounters.
