CD review: Black Milk, Album Of The Year (with audio)

After listening to Album Of The Year, I applaud Black Milk for both his ambition and his use of double entendre. His fourth studio effort is the byproduct of the Detroit native's experiences from last 12 months in addition to being what he thinks is the best release of the year.

The producer-rapper creates consistently good music highlighted by tracks like "Warning (Keep Bouncing)" and "Deadly Medley," where he holds is own with guest feature rapper Royce Da 5'9. Black Milk clowns, saying "...ugly as war zones, shit is ugly as Lady Gaga's wardrobe" or "They love when I'm performing. They laugh at your performance. My shit is Martin Luther. Your shit is Martin Lawrence."
