Rubio burns Crist on video depicting the governor with Sarah Palin urging to "drill, baby, drill" (video)

Charlie Crist these days is fulminating against BP and the massive oil spill in the Gulf.  Earlier this week he said he wants to heed the suggestion of Democrats Rick Kriseman, Dan Gelber and Keith Fitzgerald and hold a special legislative session on possibly creating a constitutional amendment banning offshore drilling in Florida waters.

The governor's anti-drilling stance is something that he's embraced for a long time -  until he didn't.

In 2008, as gas prices escalated and the national Republican Party, as exemplified at the 2008 GOP Convention in Minneapolis, got behind the idea of "Drill, baby, drill," as an energy policy, and Charlie Crist had flip-flopped to that side.  Until the past few weeks.

This morning the Marco Rubio camp- who still does support offshore drilling - unearthed a short video depicting the governor standing next to 2008 Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin in New Port Richey shortly before the November election.  Check it out:
