Alex Sink's dad shares co-starring role in new ad

Today is the first full day of the general election campaign between Democrat Alex Sink and Republican David Jolly in the special congressional election slated for March 11 in Pinellas County.

And while Jolly used 80-year-old Bob Barker on his first ad to introduce himself to Pinellas voters, Sink utilizes her father in her new TV ad. Well, Pinellas does have a lot of senior voters.

NRCC spokesperson Katie Prill was not impressed, saying in a press release that, "There is no doubt Sink and her Washington Super PAC cronies can buy a lot of fancy TV ads, but unless they can buy a time machine, they can’t change the fact that Sink is a big supporter of a health care system that is hurting Florida families and seniors. At the end of the day, that’s what this election is about.”
