Sparkman Wharf is gearing up to host its very first market, Sparkman Sundries, this Saturday, October 19. From 11 a.m.-4 p.m. the chef's playground will be littered with over 30 vendors selling custom wares like jewelry and clothing; you might even be able to get some grocery shopping done while you're at it.
Some of the vendors stationed throughout Sparkman will include the Instagrammable Posies Flower Bus, the Gypsy Junk Bus and Wild Hearts Photo Bus. Get in your good deed of shopping local at the booths of Gulf Coast Sour Dough, Succer for Plants and Good Grunt Peppers. Oh, don't forget to drag the kids along to get some face painting provided by Streetlaced Promotions.
The new pop-up is put on by the folks at Tampa Bay Markets, which is the group behind Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market, Fresh Market at Hyde Park and the Shops at Wiregrass, and North Tampa Market. Just a heads up, locals can expect follow-up markets this spring and summer.
Parking is available in the Garrison Lot and Channelside Parking Garage for an hourly fee until 3 p.m. After that, the cost to park there goes up to $25 thanks to the Lightning game. Don't want to sweat the garage? Hunt down some street parking and scooter over. Sparkman Wharf is located at 615 Channelside Dr. in Tampa.
