Florida's 11 public colleges requested Wednesday that tuition increases be amped up as schools face funding cuts.
At a State University System of Florida Board of Governors meeting, trustees delivered plans to raise revenue to fund financial aid, hire oustanding faculty, complete infrastructure improvements and add attractive, current academic programs.
