Mark McKinnon, a W advisor, filed a gushy post on The Daily Beast about flying back to Texas with the former president on Tuesday. While the content wasn't all that surprising - "As he toured the cabin of the airplane throughout the flight, visiting with old friends, family, and staffers, he was filled with equanimity, grace, and a generosity of spirit." - McKinnon's point-and-shoot pictures feel truly behind the scenes. The new era HuffPo-inspired "journalism" often leads to such blatant conflict of interest that it's worthwhile only for those who need their opinions confirmed, positive or otherwise.
