Clearwater Beach Uncorked, an annual two-day food, wine and craft beer festival, is moving to St. Petersburg under a new name, Savor St. Pete

The festival will be held on the weekend of November 2 and 3, so make sure to mark your calendar.

The showcase, which will be held at North Straub Park in downtown St. Pete, may be new to the ‘Burg, but it will mark the event’s eighth year. Savor St. Pete will offer guests the chance to try some of the area’s top eats and drinks and enjoy live entertainment, according to a press release from Savor St. Pete.

“Savor St. Pete is a palate-pleasing, star-studded weekend destination event showcasing the talents of renowned wine and spirits producers, brewmasters, chefs and culinary personalities to educate, entice, enlighten and entertain, according to event organizers,” the release states.

Entertainment at the event includes Savor St. Pete’s “Best Chef Competition.” This competition will pit some the Bay area’s best chefs against one another in a cook-off before event judges on Saturday, November 2.

The event will also feature two live tapings of the television series, Cooking with Rock Stars, which is slated to premiere globally on October 25. Each episode will feature iconic rockers of the '60s, '70s, and '80s preparing their favorite dishes for veteran host and Executive Producer John Campbell, according to the series website. Brian Howe, former Bad Company lead singer, will serve as the special guest on Saturday’s taping. Martha Davis, the lead singer/songwriter from The Motels, will be featured on Sunday’s episode.

General admission grants guests access to the event between 1-4 p.m. daily and include food, wine and beer sampling within the 30,000-square-foot tent Grand Tasting Village. Tickets also include a limited edition wine glass and a custom tote bag from the event for $75.

In addition to the access provided to GA ticket holders, VIPs will be able to enter the event an hour early and have access to the Private VIP Spirits Lounge for $100. The lounge will serve craft cocktails and will have limited seating.
