In case you've fallen into some weird Netflix binge-watching K-hole and are unaware of its existence, here's your unofficial reminder that THE punk-rock festival of the summer is taking place at Atlanta's Masquerade in just a couple of weeks.
The Wrecking Ball ATL features more than 50 bands over the course of two days — including several acts that either don't tour anymore, rarely tour anymore, or rarely come within driving distance of the Bay area when they do tour — in addition to exclusive VIP deals and merch, and limited-capacity late night shows featuring the likes of legendary posthardcore act Hum and sets paying tribute to Weezer (played by Superheaven) and Smashing Pumpkins (played by Sorority Noise).
And yes, we're almost positive there will be more, both announced and all super-secret-like.
One-day, two-day and VIP tickets are still available here, so book your time off, make sure your ride is in order, and get ready to make some sweaty, loud, sweaty, once-in-a-lifetime sweaty memories. Click through for the full announced lineup.
