Monday, Dec. 2

Tampa’s Francis House will hold a World AIDS Day vigil at 5:30 p.m. to remember those who have died from HIV/AIDS in the past year.

Join Hamburger Mary’s in Tampa, 1600 8th Ave., for a night of fun, food and prizes to benefit the Tampa Bay Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. Ten games of bingo costs $10. And bring an unwrapped gift card for Francis House to enter to win a Chamber prize pack. Table reservations can be made by calling Mary at (813) 241-6279.

Georgie’s Alibi, 3100 3rd Ave. N., St. Pete, will hold its Third Annual Toys for Tots Benefit from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. Drop off your donated toys by the fireplace. Proceeds from a raffle and an auction will also benefit Toys for Tots.

Thursday, Dec. 5

Dunedin Lanes presents its monthly Gay Bowling Night from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The $10 admission includes unlimited cosmic bowling with DJ Mark McKay, $1 drinks from 10 to 11 p.m., contests, giveaways and a midnight performance featuring Natasha Richards and Amy DeMilo.

Friday, Dec. 6

Pinellas County will observe World AIDS Day 12 to 4 p.m., at Williams Park in St. Petersburg. In addition to free health screenings, the event will also include food, entertainment and giveaways. This year’s theme is Getting to Zero, meaning zero infections or AIDS-related deaths.

Saturday, Dec. 7

St. Pete Pride’s annual Red & Green Party takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Sunken Gardens, 1825 4th St. N., in St. Petersburg. This fundraiser benefits St. Pete Pride’s Community Grant Program, which allows the organization to give back to different non-profits throughout the community.

Guests will have access to multiple venues at the Sunken Gardens throughout the evening. With an open bar and complimentary appetizers, guests will dine al fresco in the 100-year-old botanical garden featuring some of the region’s oldest tropical plants.

Double M Band will perform, in addition to Kori Stevens, Muffy Vanbeaverhousen, Rico M. Taylor and Akillis.

Sunday, Dec. 8

Bradley’s on 7th, 1510 E. 7th Ave., Tampa, hosts its Third Annual Chili Cook-off. Chili must be on site by 3 p.m.; the tasting and judging begins at 5 p.m. There is no entry fee for this open invitation cook-off. First, second and third place winners get $100, $50 and $25 bar tabs respectively.
