Chick-fil-A tries to make amends for its hateful ways

After months of an exhausting and vitriolic media firestorm and a wave of protests because of the fast food chicken chain, which has donated money to anti-gay groups and has a hate-spewing president, it seems to be turning over a new leaf. A Chicago-based LGBT advocacy group says the company has agreed to stop funding right-wing, conservative groups that oppose same-sex marriage.
