Sure, there are plenty of folks who criticize their music, but in the end, said folks end up looking like party-pooping naysayers thumbing their noses and cursing all the gyrating goodtimers on the dance floor. Maybe not, but it’s definitely not easy to stave off the infectious draw of the fivesome’s debut LP, Manners. Leadoff track “Make Light” blasts with pulsing bass, flourishing synths, and songwriter/lead singer’s Michael Angelakos’ relentless falsetto.
