Try as you might, it's not always easy to say goodbye to that thing that's limiting you. At least not according to the storytellers from True Stories goodbye-themed show. They told tales of "letting go" (with claw marks), dropping old baggage (for real), and then there was Ted.* Check out his story, #SaltLife.

True Stories will be live again, Wednesday, May 10 at Unscripted Theatre, stories start at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 and on sale here. Get there early to grab a seat and get your name in the fucket bucket for the chance to tell your own story.
The May theme is “House Troubles,” and the featured teller is none other than Scott Harrell, managing editor of Creative Loafing. Your mission, should you choose to take the fucket bucket by the balls, is to prepare a five-minute story about troubles at your house. Maybe that kitchen remodel didn’t go as planned. Or maybe you grew up in a house with a really nasty cat or sibling… The trick is to get it down to five minutes and make people care, because you will be judged. Sort of. The audience is always generous. (See this clip if you're dubious.) Though there is a "best" story of the night. You might even get your story in this very column.
