Kevin's Korner is your weekly wrap-up of all things Hollywood. There was plenty of news this week, including casting changes, 3-D updates, a LeBeouf mea culpa and so much more. I also have your box office report and a great trailer of the week. So, let's get started with the news, and add a side of snark!
I got quit: Megan Fox has stated that she quit Transformers 3, but that was only after reports popped up claiming director Michael Bay had canned his hot starlet for shooting off her big mouth while doing publicity for Transformers 2. Fox had said that director Bay, who is responsible for more explosions than the Army, is like “a Nazi.” Oh yeah, I’m sure that had nothing to do with anything. There are reports, however, that Gemma Arterton (pictured right, and seen recently in Clash of the Titans and Prince of Persia) is a front-runner to be Fox’s replacement. But is she Fox-y enough?
Saving the earth from Jemaine Clement: The villain has been cast in the third Men in Black film, with Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Concords) getting the part. Clement will star opposite of Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith, who will reprise their roles as agents K and J respectively. No word yet if Tony Shalhoub will return (he better), and I still want one of those neuralizers!
