The Tampa Bay Jewish Film Festival — international in scope with high-quality offerings — returns to various cinemas around Tampa Bay and opens today.
Films screen at Tampa Theatre, Channelside Cinemas, Eckerd College, USF and Sun City Center.
The great fest begins 7:30 p.m. tonight at Tampa Theatre with the Florida premiere of The Matchmaker, nominated for seven Israeli Academy Awards. The film is followed by a dessert reception in the theater lobby. Tickets are $15, available at the festival website, tbjff.org.
