But if you're in Tampa, and a gallery hop sounds appealing, tonight is the premiere of First Fridays Seminole Heights. On the first Friday of every month all of the art galleries in and around Seminole Heights will extend their hours into the evening to allow people to browse the creative and offbeat works throughout the community. Participating venues include Epoxy, QUAID, Tempus Projects, Workspace and The Hatchway Gallery. Gallery addresses and more information about FFSH events are available on the event's Facebook page.

Jobsite Theater revives the 1980s classic with a trio of talented redheads: Christen Petitt Hailey, Katrina Stevenson and Katie Castonguay. They portray the Magrath sisters, who are each experiencing turning points in their lives amidst reuniting to visit their dying grandfather. Lenny (Petitt Hailey) is pushing the snooze button on her biological clock; Meg (Stevenson) returns after a failed attempt to make it as a singer, and youngest sis’ Babe (Castonguay) is out on bail after having shot her husband in the stomach. Jobsite newcomer Christina Jane Capehart is the ultimate foil as Chick, the uptight lawyer who tries to keep Babe out of jail. Playwright Beth Henley’s first, Pulitzer-winning play, debuted in 1979 and was adapted to film in 1986, starring Diane Keaton, Jessica Lange, Sissy Spacek and Sam Shepard.
Jobsite’s production also stars J. Elijah Cho as Barnette Lloyd and Chris Rutherford as Doc Porter. Kari Goetz and Jaime Giangrande-Holcom co-direct. Opens March 7 and continues through March 30 at the Shimberg Playhouse of the Straz Center,1010 N. MacInnes Place, Tampa.
