Bill Maher and The Humane Society have teamed up for this PSA video about IHOP and their refusal to use cage-free eggs, calling them the "International House of Pain".
According to the video, California, the birthplace of IHOP, has made it a crime to factory farm chickens in cramped cages (like the ones of the IHOP egg supplier as seen in the video).
Other big-name restaurant chains have started using some cage-free eggs, like Denny's, Burger King, Wendy's, Quiznos, Hardee's and Carl's Jr. Though the aforementioned chains are not yet solely using cage-free eggs, the switch to using more humanely obtained eggs could be another four years off. But, hey, at least they're making an effort.
