The 2010 Gasparilla International Film Festival got underway Thursday night with a red carpet gala at the Tampa Theatre. Those assembled included stars (Armand Assante, Raymond J. Barry), politicos (Rep. Kevin Ambler, Lt. Governor Jeff Kottkamp) and you, members of the general public who just love the movies. Turnout was solid, the food at the pre-party looked and smelled great, and the audience seemed upbeat and ready to watch opening night film happythankyoumoreplease.
