Porsche, the German automaker whose vehicles many of us drool over, has begun development on some all-electric sports cars, have just gotten the green light to start production on their plug-in hybrid 918 Spyder concept car (featured at the last Geneva Motor Show), and are starting production on two new hybrid vehicles.
The company has just announced that they will be testing out three electric vehicles based on the Boxster (pictured at right) to add to their future line of hybrid and electric cars. They've also currently put into production the 911 GT3 R Hybrid race car and the Cayenne S Hybrid, which will be able to run solely on electric power.
