Are Jews being forced to register in Ukraine?

Starting last night, we've been seeing multiple news reports via credible media that Jews in a Russian-controlled town in Ukraine over the age of 16 are being forced to pay a special tax and register with the forces that have taken the town.

Here's the USA Today report; here's another one from The Jerusalem Post. According to the stories, flyers were handed out all over the town of Donetsk, the city at the center of Ukraine's "anti-terrorist" pushback against Russian forces. The flyers allegedly demand that all Jews must provide an accounting of their property and pay a registration fee in order to avoid deportation.

The man whose name appears on the flyers with the assignation "chairman of 'Donetsk's temporary government,'" Denis Pushilin, has denied any connection to them.
