The inaugural Bad Ass Beerfest will be hosted by Ybor City's Tampa Bay Brewing Company Saturday, June 28, in its new Westchase space at 13937 Monroe Business Park.

In celebration of the larger operation's groundbreaking, which features a restaurant, production brewery and packaging space that will open in 2015, the festival will offer brews and ciders from more than 20 local craft breweries.

Chef John Boyle will showcase Tampa Bay Brewing Company fare like smoked ribs, chicken, side dishes and more, while the Kirk McEwen Band and headliners the Black Honkeys provide tunes throughout the evening.

Tickets may be purchased for $35 in advance or $50 at the door, and entry grants imbibers brews and a selection of food.

The brew fest will benefit Tampa and South Florida's Wounded Warrior projects.
