Cheers! It’s the weekend. Clink glasses and unwind during the Bubbly sampling event at St. Petersburg’s Winesmith. From 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, guests will taste a variety of sparklers, including the shop’s chenin blanc (a French rosé) and best-selling blanc de blanc from France. In Clearwater, head to Whole Foods Market's Superfoods Breakfast Class at 10 a.m. Saturday. Students will learn how to make chia seed pudding under the instruction of local blogger and health coach Rebecca Freedman. Make a splash at Sea Salt in downtown St Pete. Starting at noon Saturday, the Oysters 101 seminar will treat guests to a hands-on lesson in the art of opening and selecting oysters, as well as recipes from Sea Salt’s chef. The Tampa Bay Bacon Festival will attract bacon and Pokemon Go lovers (lures will be set up all day) between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday. The fest, hosted at Tampa’s Burger Culture, will feature porcine delights from food trucks and vendors like The Bacon Boss, Mother Truckin’ Good and Craving Donuts. After, hang around Fly Bar’s 10 Year Anniversary Party. The celebration for the downtown Tampa restaurant and bar is planned for 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday, when much-loved dishes and cocktails from the past decade will return throughout the evening.
