Not a lot of new releases out this week. But I have, as per usual, put together the ones you want to know about below, with audio & video for your listening and viewing pleasure. Click here to check out releases that dropped over the past few months ...
Gary Clark Jr., Bright Lights EP (Warner Bros.)
Dom, Family Of Love EP (Astralwerks)
Described as a collection of sensory pop tunes that combine elements of teenie bop with space rock. Not sure how those two things work together especially as Mariah Carey, Judy Nylon and David Bowie were cited as inspirations but according to the band, "the songs reflect a cosmic and sometimes dark vibe via a bubblegum medium." The five-song EP was produced by Nicolas Vernhes (Animal Collective, Bjork). Interest piqued? Check out the video for "Living in America" below.
Eyes Set To Kill, White Lotus (Foresee Records)
Fleshgod Apocalypse, Agony (Nuclear Blast Records)
Grimes, Geidi Primes (NPIP)
Originally released by Montreal's Arbutus Records as a free download and cassette in early 2010, Geidi Primes sees its re-release by No Pain In Pop. Check out her video for "Beast Infection" (along with the rest of this week's new releases) after the jump.
