Three noteworthy shows are happening on this Thurs., March 17. Yep, it's St. Paddy's Day, though none of our suggested shows are purposefully festive. We also included a comprehensive breakdown for tonight, too. Take a look below.

Joe Satriani Virtuoso rock guitarist Joe Satriani has released 15 solo LPs in his career, beginning with 1986 debut Not of This Earth and ending up at last year’s Shockwave Supernova. To mark the three-decade milestone of his output, his current “Surfing to Shockwave Tour” is a 30-year retrospective that touches on favorites spanning his entire catalog of pealing arpeggios and soaring lead solos, setlists studded with nuggets pulled from the “Satriani Songbook” – material that’s rarely (if ever) been played in a live setting, including “Big Bad Moon,” “Friends,” “Crystal Planet” and “Luminous Flesh Giants.” (Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater)

DeadPhish Orchestra This particular tribute act is a four-piece that hails from Boulder, Colo., and delivers setlists that touch on Phish and Grateful Dead material, segues that feel like mash-ups (“Eyes of Carini,” “Harry Bertha Hood”) as well as trademark cover songs by both ala “Not Fade Away” and “Crosseyed and Painless.” (Dunedin Brewery, Dunedin)

Sinatra Sings Sinatra – The Centennial Celebration UPDATE: We regret to announce that Frank Sinatra, Jr. passed away yesterday.
