Chuck Todd is NBC News' Political Director and host of "The Daily Rundown" on MSNBC weekdays at 9 a.m.
During last month's Republican National Convention in Tampa, the Miami native stayed at the recently opened Floridan Hotel in downtown. Apparently, he wasn't enamored with the 19-story building, which opened in late July after being shut down for 23 years.
