CL Record Fair and Music Issue 2015 Release Party to occur this Saturday

Six indie music retailers set up pop-up shops at the CL Space.

This year's Music Issue examines the changing face of the recording industry, how it's reflected locally, the growing trend of home studios, mobile producers and boutique studio spaces, and the noteworthy (and numerous) sites that are making music right here in Tampa Bay. I am super stoked about how it turned out. Join me in celebrating this Saturday at the CL Space, in which we'll be staging the second annual CL Record Fair and Music Issue 2015 Release Party simultaneously.

Five indie music retailers — MicrogroovePlanet RetroDaddy KoolMojo Books & Records and Jerk Dog Records — bring the best of their vinyl and set up temporary shops, while Audio Visions South presents various desirable equipment (from turntables to headphones) and erects the big ol' (pristine sound quality) speakers from which we'll be blasting quality tunes throughout the day. Popsicles by Whatever Pops, specialty sandwiches by Sunday's Delicatessen and various other goodies will be available as well.

Sat., July 28, noon-5 p.m., CL Space, 1911 N. 13th Street (upstairs), Ybor City, free admission.
