The latest location of the Cousins Maine Lobster franchise debuted over the weekend at 309 Coronado Dr. in Clearwater.

The location is owned by husband-and-wife team, Ricardo and Heidi Varona — who collectively have over four decades' worth of restaurant experience.

After being founded in 2011 by cousins Jim Tselikis and Sabin Lomac, Cousins Maine Lobster has been a very hot topic after debuting on a Shark Tank episode back in 2013 where the duo linked up with shark investor Barbara Corcoran.

From there, the franchise grew recognition on a variety of television shows including The Chew, Good Morning America, The Today Show, and multiple shows on Food Network.

Not only do franchise locations own brick and mortar, but you may have even come across a Cousins Maine Lobster food truck.

Cousins Maine Lobster's menu offers up a true Maine seafood experience, by sourcing 100% premium, wild-caught, sustainably harvested lobster from Maine.

Menu items include rolls, sandwiches, salads, tacos and chowders. Specialties on the menu range from lobster tots and quesadillas to Maine fried clams tossed with lemon served with fries and house-made tartar sauce.

The joints even have craft and domestic beers on draft alongside a selection of wine.
