Happy Columbus Day.....and as a SF 49er fan, I promise not to say about yesterday's effort against your Tampa Bay Bucs.
So, back to the working week (does anybody other than schools get this day off?), where the Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Tampa demonstrations continue. Yesterday on the Sunday morning shows, pundits and some GOP politicos weighed in on the developments.
Rick Santorum is still hanging in there in the GOP race - and still making comments that are pissing off gays.
And in addition to the 49ers, their crosstown rivals, the Oakland Raiders, also were successful on Sunday, a day after their iconoclastic owner, Al Davis, passed away. As a lifelong Raider fan, I'm willing to admit the man wasn't perfect.
