Locale Market, the 20,000-square-foot gourmet food emporium slated to launch in November, will hold a job fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at downtown St. Pete's Hotel Indigo.

Opening at the city's Sundial plaza, Locale, which will feature seasonal ingredients, a coffee and wine bar, artisan goods and more, is the latest project by celebrity chefs Michael Mina and Don Pintabona.

Jeff Houck, Locale's marketing and public relations director, said the event will fill up to 200 positions. Bartenders, baristas, pastry and sushi chefs, cashiers and managers are among the roles up for grabs.

Tampa Bay'rs with experience in guest service, gourmet markets, fine dining, wineries, grocery or health-food stores and high-end retail are encouraged to apply, according to a press release.

Applicants will need to bring two copies of their resume to the job fair, and send a resume, salary history and cover letter to [email protected] with "Locale" as the subject.
