It's been weeks since Rick Santorum "suspended" his presidential campaign, which essentially allowed the media to then concentrate on the Mitt Romney/Barack Obama match-up - every day, for the next half year.
But there are two Republicans who against all odds, are still running against Mitt Romney: Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul. The two men will undoubtedly collect votes in the five primary elections taking place tonight. They're also expected to get crushed once again by Romney among those who actually vote.
Although momentum for his being named as Romney's running mate appears to have waned, Marco Rubio campaigned with the presumptive nominee in Pennsylvania yesterday - and where Romney refused to give full out support for Rubio's watered down version of the Dream Act (link to come).
Although the ethically challenged Jim Norman is facing several Republican challengers in his bid for re-election to the state Senate, Hillsborough/Pasco County Democrats had been having a difficult time fielding a candidate of their own - but not anymore.
And political satirist Jon Stewart was in Clearwater over the weekend. CL's Julie Garisto was there and files this report.
