The Deaf Action Center (DAC) assists Brandon Topgolf on Saturday when the entertainment complex hosts a night where children, teens, adults and elders from the deaf community are invited to socialize without feeling different from anyone else.
DAC American Sign Language interpreters will be at the front desk and tee line to not just ease the communication barrier but also translate game instructions and lessons.
Holding events such as these not only brings public awareness to those living with this disability but also offers a chance to connect and realize that they are a part of something bigger than themselves.
