Kanye West, The Life of Pablo (GOOD Music) If Kanye West isn’t your problematic fave right now, then you are doing something wrong. After a year-long publicity trainwreck that began with him declaring Bill Cosby “INNOCENT!” and wrapping up with a public endorsement of/private meeting with Asshole-in-Chief Drumpf, I can officially say that an artist whose music I enjoy so much has never infuriated me so deeply. I can’t stand Yeezy right now, and you shouldn’t either. The dude needs help. But also, “Ultra Light Beam” is the best song of the year, no contest, and I’ve listened to TLOP way more times than any other new release of 2016. Fuck you, Kanye West. Why can’t you just suck, like Drake? —Abram Scharf
