Tampa Bay Ukulele Society (TBUS) invites fellow uke musicians to join in an in-person or virtual Ukulele Getaway, with workshops, concerts, and play-along jam sessions Friday-Sunday, Nov. 5-7.
You can participate from anywhere in the world, via Zoom, for just 450 which gets you access to the whole weekend of workshops for beginners and beyond. Ukulele celebs like Stu Fuchs, Blue Dahlia, and Kalani Rose are performing and teaching during the virtual events all being recorded and made available for two weeks after the event.
There are also VIP tickets for on-site events, at St. Pete’s Sirata Beach Resort, including an artist meet and greet plus concert and luau. A “player pass” goes for $199, or if you’re more of a fan than an active participant, a “companion pass” ($159) includes everything but the workshops and open mic performance.
For in-person events attendees, artists, vendors, and staff are required to provide a negative COVID test taken 72-hours prior to the event (or vaxx card), and a temperature check at registration. If you cannot comply with these safety protocols, you can change your in-person ticket to online, get refunded the difference or use your ticket to next year’s fest.
