Kaukonen and Casady formed Tuna in 1969 when in the legendary “White Rabbit” band Jefferson Airplane. Lead singer Grace Slick was unable to perform while recovering from throat surgery; Tuna was born a side project and has been performing on and off with different lineups ever since.

Tuna hasn’t had much commercial success, but a solid cult following kept the duo working, resulting in14 live albums and eight studio albums including the most famous Burgers.

Capitol Theatre is still running with 50% capacity and selling tickets in pairs, though there is a four-person private loge box option for $318.

COVID-19 protocols are still being enforced including mask requirements and temperature checks. Just because Florida is acting like it, doesn’t mean the pandemic is over yet, honey.
