St. Pete’s Freefall Theatre Company, located at 6099 Central Ave., announced its 2021-22 season starting in October—the company’s first traditional, in-person shows since 2020. (The recent “The Rose and the Beast” was “more of an experience than a play.”)

Single tickets range from $25-$50 or you can get a season subscription—for $29 a month or $319 for the year—which also gets you into special events like the Tandem Cabaret Series, Pop Goes The Yoga, and classic film screenings. If you subscribe in September, a gift certificate towards guest tickets or concessions will be added to your account.

Theater is expensive, and Creative Loafing Tampa Bay devotes editorial budget to writing about it because it’s essential to cover local playwrights, actors and the venues that support them.
