Off-Central Players is the newest theater troupe to hit St. Petersburg, performing out of Studio Grand Central, at 2260 1st Ave S. The company and black box-style performance space are the products of producing artistic director, and professional actor, Ward Smith and his sister Karen Riffe.

The first production of “Rasheeda Speaking” wraps up Saturday, Sept. 19 but there are four more productions during the rest of the inaugural season including two original works from local playwright Bill Leavengood.

See the 2021 season lineup for Off-Central Players below, and visit studiograndcentral.com for more information.

Theater is expensive, and Creative Loafing Tampa Bay devotes editorial budget to writing about it because it’s essential to cover local playwrights, actors and the venues that support them. Support arts journalism in these crazy days and consider making a one time or monthly donation to help support our staff. Every little bit helps.
