Aw, schitt. The farewell tour for “Schitt’s Creek,” which included a long-postponed stop at St. Pete’s Mahaffey Theater will not be happening.

Co-creator Dan Levy—who also portrayed David Rose on the “Pop TV” show—took to social media Friday morning to announce that he and his father, comedy legend Eugene Levy had made the difficult decision, and promised to still find a way to see fans in the future. “Despite our best efforts to reschedule while keeping your health and safety at the forefront, we’ve found that state and local mandates vary too widely to do so in the near future,” they wrote.

The tour was set to be a multimedia affair hosted by the Levys, Catherine O’Hara (Moira Rose), Annie Murphy (Alexis Rose), Emily Hampshire (Stevie Budd), and Noah Reid (Patrick Brewer). There was such high demand for the show in St. Pete, the Mahaffey Theater had to add a second show.

Mahaffey confirmed the cancellation on Monday, and refunds should hit bank accounts shortly.

In the meantime, all six seasons of “Schitt’s Creek” can be streamed on Netflix.
