Sauvignon Wine Locker & American Trattoria wants to give downtown St. Petersburg “a destination where all can revel in the finest aspects of life,” and its website says patrons can start doing that next month.
Guests can fill out an online form and be notified when the Italian eatery—which has been on the minds of locals since 2019—officially opens at 241 Central Ave. at the former home of A Taste For Wine on the second floor of the historic First Block building.
“We are an American midsize restaurant that focuses on fresh seasonal food prepared by our executive chef along with an expertise on wine and beer,” they wrote.
Hours of operation will be Tuesday-Friday 4 p.m.-midnight, Saturday 10 a.m.-midnight, and Sunday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Weekend brunch hours are 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Saturday and all-day Sunday.
