Downtown St. Petersburg’s newest sweets spot, Daddies Donuts and Delites, is set to debut this September at 449 Central Ave. in the old Iceburg Rolled Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt.
It’s set to live right next to Il Ritorno, according to I Love the Burg, so if you’re in the mood for after-dinner donuts and cookies, Daddies is closest.
The concept has been teasing its creations on Instagram since early May, posting everything from Tootie Frootie donuts covered in Fruity Pebbles to buckeyes and breakfast casserole.
While the shop has special donuts, you can also keep it simple and opt for regular chocolate or vanilla with sprinkles, and even a cake pop if you want something small.
The specialty donuts include everything from french toast and ever-classic boston creme to a more unique Twix creation (a chocolate iced donut with caramel drizzle, complete with a piece of a Twix bar stuffed in the middle).
