Identity Tampa Bay’s 727to813 event is back for its second year—in-person this time—with a concert series and food freebies aiming to celebrate the sense of community in Tampa Bay.
Deals include 20% discounts (St. Petersburg Distillery, online orders at Spaddy’s), free spin and yoga (Union Three, for for first-timers only) and even restaurants (Kahwa BOGO happy hours, plus discounts at Cass St. Deli and flights at Wine & Wood). All deals obviously have their own fine print.
Food isn’t all that’s on the lineup, though. IDTB partnered with FWDThinkers to bring live music to the Bay, and you can enjoy whether you’re venturing into the world or staying at home.
Ari Chi plays The Bricks Courtyard with DJ Wally Rios (Aug. 6), Jeremy Gloff is bringing his album “Burn It Up! Turn It Up!” to Crowbar (Aug. 8, with CL’s own Stephanie Powers on the support bill), and Sparkman Wharf is even hosting a lineup including much-hyped hip-hop collective Seeyousoon—which just played its first live show ever at Hooch and Hive—DJ Dfaz and The Drain Outs (Aug. 13, or 8/13, the last day of the 727to813 festival).
If you prefer to enjoy your live music from the couch these days, you can catch WMNF’s Ken Apperson’s “Coda Project” on Aug. 3 and 10 at 8 p.m.
