The Tampa Bay Rowdies play for the USL title this weekend at Al Lang

After a dramatic win last weekend, the Rowdies head to the USL Championship.

After a dramatic overtime win against Louisville last weekend, The Tampa Bay Rowdies are headed to the USL Championship title game. On Saturday night, the team hosts the Orange County Soccer Club at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg.

Last Saturday, the Rowdies (26-7-2 for the season) won the USL Eastern Conference Championship, their second in a row. They were behind 2-0 when Lucky Mkosana scored twice late in the game to help the team close the deficit and bring the game to overtime against Louisville. Steevan Dos Santos’ scored an incredible goal in overtime for a 3-2 win.

Orange County (32-15-7) beat San Antonio in penalty kicks in the Western Conference final Saturday night, and will head to St. Petersburg to take on the Rowdies.

Tickets for the championship can be purchased at the Rowdies website, and they range from $30-$58.
