A South Florida developer says downtown Tampa's Moxie's Cafe, Dohring building, Bamboozle and First Watch will remain in place through most of 2022 before demolition and construction begins on the strip of historic storefronts.

Tampa Bay Business Journal says Kolter Group bought the four parcels near the corner of N Tampa Street and E Twiggs St. The Hillsborough Property appraiser says Kolter—already a very busy condo developer—paid $11.64 million for the parcels, a small alley and the vacant lot facing N Ashley Dr. A rep for Kolter told TBBJ that the buildings will be raised to make room for at least 200 condos.
