Arm The Poor
It’s been about a dozen years since Tampa band Arm the Poor hit the stage to share its poppy ska-punk sound for the PBR-drinking set, but this reunion won’t be the only high point at this VFW show.

The flyer says Bay area punk band Rutterkin has a surprise, and promoter Chewy Hemphill of Savage Beat told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that the secret is a Guided By Voices cover set. Miski Dee Rodriguez’s City Mouse project rounds out the bill alongside Gainesville pop-punk band Articles.
The flyer also advertises a negative COVID test or proof of vax, but Hemphill said that won’t actually be the case. Vaccines and masks, however, are strongly encouraged by Savage Beat and every band on the bill.
