Todd Rundgren, Denny Laine, and more bringing Beatles hits to Clearwater in March

Also present will be Christopher Cross, Badfinger’s Joey Molland, and Jay DeMarcus.

In 2019, Todd Rundgren, Christopher Cross, and The Monkees’ Micky Dolenz put together the first-ever “It Was 50 Years Ago Today” tour—a show in which each musician on stage would perform songs from The Beatles’ iconic "White Album."

Three years later, a Dolenz-free version of the supergroup is slowly announcing plans to hit the road with a salute to 1965's Rubber Soul and 1966’s Revolver, and the band stops at Clearwater’s Ruth Eckerd Hall on Wednesday, March 16. Taking Dolenz’ place will be Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus, and Moody Blues co-founder Denny Laine. Yep, the same one who would later co-found Paul McCartney and Wings.
Tickets to see It Was 50 Years Ago Today: A Tribute To The Beatles go on sale this Friday, and start at $43.75.
