Tampa Heights' Bloom on Franklin block party hosts its first art, music and market party of 2022

Franklin Street’s Bloom block party is up for an Urban Excellence Award from the Tampa Downtown Partnership, and rightfully so.

Taking place at six venues on Tampa Heights’ “Yellow Brick Row,” 2021’s first installment features closing receptions for “Beyond Words” and Eve Jackson’s “Epoch II,” but also live music, screenprinting, and a night market.

New this month, because, well, Gasparilla, is “The Pirate’s Cove where four EDM DJs will team up with viola, flute and guitar players for a show in the center of Oceanic. Donations accepted, and you can find the party starting at 7 p.m. on Franklin Street in between Kay St. and Henderson Avenue. More information via @mergeculture on Facebook.
