Round up your pumpkin and honey bunny because a re-creation of the "Pulp Fiction" soundtrack is going down in Tampa next week.

The concert and screening is happening as part of the "Reel Deal Thursday" series at Crowbar in Ybor City on Thursday, Feb. 24, and tickets are on sale now for $15.

The soundtrack for Quentin Tarantino's classic 1994 film is a surf-rock and '70s soul gem, so promoter MNE Presents has tapped a stacked lineup of local talent to help start the concert at 10 a.m. after the movie screens at 7 p.m.
Indian Rocks Beach surf-noir band FayRoy and funk-soul king Gerry Williams are on the bill along with Americana songwriters Matt Burke (Have Gun, Will Travel), Jack Sprouse (Band of Sorrows) and Shae Krispinsky (Navin Ave.) plus punk scene elder statesman Mike Ingold (Ghostfront), R&B songwriter Monica Delgado (Hotbox) and genre-hopping producer extraordinaire Shawn Kyle (Beauvilles, AMFMs, Florida Kilos).

Costumes are encouraged, and the "Pulp Fiction" gig is just the beginning of an impressive five-show run for "Real Deal Thursdays" which finds the series taking on "O'Brother Where Art Thou" (April 28), "The Song Remains The Same" (July 28), "Krush Groove" (Sept. 29, featuring a who's who of Tampa hip-hop) and "Judgement Night" (Dec. 1).
More information on the series is available via @realdealthurs on Facebook. I got my fingers crossed for the last minute addition of someone making royales with cheese on the grill all night long.

UPDATED 02/21/22 12:45 p.m.  Updated because Mike Ingold is in Ghostfront, not Dead Mirrors. We're not sure if he's an elder statesman of the punk scene anymore, but we left that part in there.
