Horsewhip and Orlando's Gillian Carter leads stacked hardcore concert in St. Pete this weekend

Wild Roots continues to flex its ability to host outdoor shows, and you’ll want to bring your earplugs to this one on Friday, Feb. 25 where St. Pete hardcore band Horsewhip headlines a show backed by Gillian Carter which boasts a brutal and beautifully melancholic take on hard-rock that’s been wowing its native Orlando scene for more than 15 years.
Also from the City Beautiful is Human, touring behind Delicacies of Extinction, a 2021 album of classic Central Florida death-metal with some punk infusion. Locals should also stick around and support visitors Sundown, from Indiana, supporting an anthemic new album, Keep Moving, set for release on Friday.
