The flyer for Pusha Preme’s March 5 shoe drive concert at Crowbar in Ybor City is styled after The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover which is on point because the lineup does feature a who’s who of Tampa hip-hop.

Two emcees from CL’s recent “22 rappers to watch in 2022” are on the bill (Preme, Jay Browne) along with a collective CL totally slept on (Barely Legal, from St. Pete, infamous for wild parties and a live set that’s gonna land the group on lineups at Rolling Loud and other mega festivals).
Be ready to see Browne and Barely Legal run through “Dat Way” but also bring shoes to donate as the gig is also Preme’s inaugural shoe drive where donations of gently used shoes will go to kids at Metropolitan Ministries.

“I remember as a child growing up, I was very insecure due to not having the popular footwear by the other kids in my class. Those feelings of insecurity are what sparked the inspiration to start this foundation,” Preme—who’s releasing a new EP Over Thinking Will Kill U at the show—told CL. “When I finally did own my first pair of Jordan shoes, it was like becoming a new man. I can't explain it.”

Help him pay it all forward this weekend.
